Kenneth W. Hardin, Sr.

Ken began working for the Owen Funeral Home in 1966 following four years in the U.S. Air Force with one year in Viet Nam and his graduation from the Kentucky School of Mortuary Science. He currently handles Public Relations and is the Assistant Manager for the Jeffersontown location.

Ken is a lifelong resident of Louisville and has been married to Patricia Cantrell Hardin for more than 43 years. They have two children, Kenneth W. Hardin, Jr. and Kellie Bennett. Ken, Jr. is also a Funeral Director and Emblamer for the Owen Funeral Home Jeffersontown.

Continuing his lifelong commitment to the Louisville community, he is a member of St. Edward Catholic Church, Lifemember VFW Post 1170, American Legion Post 244, Parkland Masonic Lodge, Jeffersontown Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Kosair Shrine, Viet Nam Veterans of America, and past President of the PTA at St. Edward School.

When Ken finds a few moments of personal time, he and Patricia enjoy spending time with their grandsons Luke and Logan and granddaughters Trinity Hardin Bennett and Lochlann Bennett. His hobbies include hunting, fishing and spending time at Gulf Shores Alabama and riding his Harley.
