Transitions - Living with the Memories (Week 2)

Transitions is a support group for people in the first few months of grief. Each week is designed to address the questions and needs many have in the early days of grief. All three sessions will meet Tuesdays, September 14, 21, & 28 at 11:00 am – 12:00 pm, at the Owen Funeral Home Dixie location. These meetings are provided free of charge through our Aftercare Services.

Week 1– Living with New Challenges – Week one addresses the challenges of taking the crucial steps of working through business and financial matters, following the loss of a loved one.

Week 2– Living with the Memories – Week two provides information about natural grief reactions and introduces a number of support groups and people to call with on-going questions.

Week 3 – Living with the Process – Week three addresses the grief process and how to move through it using healthy coping skills.
