Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement Farm

All are welcome! Join us for a fun get-away. We will board a Miller Tour Bus and travel to the Irish Acres Antique Gallery and explore antiques from all over the world in a beautiful setting and then lunch at The Glitz (Included).

Then we will head on over to the Old Friends Farm in Georgetown, KY, a living museum of retired thoroughbred horses. Currently, the following Triple Crown Race winners graze pastures at Old Friends: Big Brown, Birdstone, I’ll Have Another, Ruler on Ice, Touch Gold & Silver Charm (the oldest living KY Derby winner). We will have a 1-hour walking tour introducing you to some of the retirees of Old Friends. (Golf cart assistance is available if needed -It will help if you let me know in advance.) We will arrive back at the Owen Funeral Home at approximately 5:30 pm.
