Bobby Joe Caffee Sr.

January 13, 1943 - January 17, 2022

Bobby Joe Caffee, Sr. Louisville - 79, went to be with the Lord January 17, 2022. Bobby owned JB's Carpet Barn for over 35 years. He was also a truck driver for many years. Bobby was a member of Shively Baptist Church for 38 years. He was a compassionate and giving man who would do anything for his friends, family, and community. Bobby treasured every moment he spent with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. His memory will be cherished by all whose lives he touched. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Morrison Caffee; son, Bobby Joe Caffee, Jr.; siblings, Larry Caffee, Doyle Caffee, Dorcas Roseberry, Brud Caffee, Howard Caffee, Ray Caffee, Bernard Pedleton, Morrison Caffee, Jr., Donnie Caffee, James Lewis Caffee and Janis Gale Caffee. He is survived by his wife of many years, Doris Caffee; daughters, Christina “Tina” Weihe (Jeff), and Ashley “Nickie” Caffee' Robinson (Ian); grandchildren, Joshua Gulledge, Madelyn Weihe, Kaelyn Gilligan (Bryce), Andrew Caffee (Haley), Ayva Robinson, and Mila Robinson; great-grandchildren, Chase and Noah Gilligan; and sister, Jewell Parker (Sammy.) Visitation will be held at Owen Funeral Home on Dixie Highway, January 20, 2022 from 2-8PM. Services will be held at Owen Funeral Home on January 21, 2022 at 11AM, with burial to follow at Beth Haven Cemetery. In liue of flowers donations can be made to Blessing in a Backpack.
