Carrie Stearly was born on July 22, 1974, in Louisville, KY, and passed away on June 29, 2022, at the age of 47. Carrie will be remembered as a loving and faithful wife to Matt, a caring and comforting mother to Megan and Kelsey, a precious daughter to Lynn and Susie, a devoted sister to Kim and Beth, a gracious and ever-present aunt that was like a second mom to McKenzie, Brooke, Kyle, and Caleb, a beloved mentor to her volleyball team, and a cherished friend to so many. Carrie is known for being a selfless, Christ-like servant – seen best in the way she ministered to her own family. All who knew her understand that her first most priority was Matt and her girls. She intentionally made their home a welcoming, comforting, and CLEAN place to be together. She loved watching her girls grow up to become godly young wives who now love and serve their own husbands. Carrie grew up at Landmark Baptist Church and was a committed and involved member for over 40 years. She served as a sweet-spirited and unbelievably efficient church secretary for close to 20 of those years and sought to administer her tasks in a way that helped the church body worship the Lord Jesus with joy. Carrie also served Landmark Christian Academy. She always valued the education she received from LCA and loved to pour her life into the upcoming generations. She taught several classes over the years, but her deepest delight was in coaching volleyball in a way that could really be described as discipling and mentoring young ladies for Christ. Carrie served the family business, Infinite Solutions, and made sure that the team had beautiful and professional office spaces so that they could serve their clients with devotion. In so many ways, she could be described as Matt’s right hand. Carrie’s love to serve people often manifested itself in combination with her great skill and keen ability to decorate homes, church events, and other special occasions. She loved her furniture restoration business, and her work is represented in the homes of so many as she took great joy in refinishing worn furniture pieces so that they might continue be used and beautifully displayed for the decades ahead. Carrie Lynn Stearly entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ with exceeding joy on June 29, 2022. She is survived by her adoring husband, Matt Stearly, her greatest gifts – her daughters, Megan and Kelsey, her parents, Lynn and Susie Ennis, her sisters Kim Milner and Beth Enloe, her precious unborn grandchild, her many nieces and nephews she loved as if they were her own, as well as her precious Maisie and Hazel. Funeral services will be Saturday July 2,2022 10:00am Landmark Baptist Church, 6502 Johnsontown Road, Louisville Ky. with burial to follow Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Friday July 1, 2022 from 2:00-8:00pm at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
