DEBORAH ANN SEETON KRAHWINKEL AND HUGH GILBERT KRAHWINKEL III In memory of a loving and devoted couple. . . Deborah Ann (Seeton) Krahwinkel, 53, departed this life Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN. Hugh Gilbert Krahwinkel III, 64, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019, at his home. (Memorial delayed) Debbie was pre-deceased by her mother, Nancy (Fleming) Seeton; father, George E. Seeton; infant brother, George E. Seeton II; grandparents and two uncles. She is survived by her sister, Vicki (Muhlherr) Senn (Ed), two aunts, Maxine (Durr) Fleming, and Lucille (Seeton) Bouchard-Ward; two uncles, Gordon Seeton and Raymond Seeton; and a stepmother, Claire (Deroche) Seeton. Gil was pre-deceased by his father, Hugh G. Krahwinkel II, mother, Helen M. (Hamilton) Hart, grandparents, and sister-in-law. He is survived by his sister, Tondra G. (Krahwinkel) Ezzio (Joseph), two brothers, Mark H. Krahwinkel (Pamela dec.) and Kenneth E. Krahwinkel (Roy Ann), and stepfather, Steven Hart; and two aunts. Both are survived by lots of loving nephews, nieces, and cousins, and numerous treasured friends. Debbie was born in Louisville, KY, Jan 10, 1968, and grew up in the Pleasure Ridge Park area of Louisville, KY and attended PRP High School. She was a school bus driver in Louisville for many years. She graduated Spencerian College with degrees in phlebotomy and nursing (LPN) and worked for Norton Hospitals and Southwest YMCA adult day care. Gil was born in Owensboro, KY, Feb 7, 1957, and grew up in the Shively area of Louisville, KY. After graduating from Butler High School, he served in the U.S. Marine Corp, U.S. Army, and Army Reserve with honorable discharges. Later he worked as a security guard at LG&E and Salvation Army. Debbie and Gil married on October 7, 2000 and enjoyed 18 dedicated years together. Their pet canines were their “children” including rescue dogs. They volunteered at Lake Dreamland Fire Department in Shively for many years. They were of the Christian faith. Debbie was a loving wife and had a heart for serving others. Gil was a beloved husband, brother, and friend to all he met. Funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov 6, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY. Visitation begins at 9 am with service at 11. Graveside service at noon, Bethany Memorial Cemetery with Military Honors Presented. Cremation by Southern Cremation Society. They would appreciate that Donations of Sympathy be made to The Humane Society of Louisville or Lake Dreamland Fire Department Crusade for Children fund.
