Deborah Hardison Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Deborah Hardison, 64, of Louisville KY, passed away, July 14th, 2022 in her home. Deborah was born in Louisville KY, April 17th, 1958, to her parents Margaret and Jerry Berry. She was one of four children in an active household. She attended and graduated from Angela Merici High School, at the time an all-girls Catholic high school. After Deborah graduated, she began work as a customer representative for Cissel and later retired from Value Market in 2011.. During this time, she began her family and raised two wonderful children: her daughter Lynn and her son Chris Mattingly. She was an enthusiast of game shows, enjoyed playing bingo, spoiling her fur babies, but most of all she loved every minute she shared with her grandchildren. Her memory will be cherished by all those who were blessed to be a part of her life. She was preceded by her parents Margaret and Jerry Berry; her husbands Danny Hardison & Terry Atkins; and her daughter, Lynn Mattingly. Deborah is survived by her son, Chris Mattingly (Amy); grandchildren, Isabella and Sophia Mattingly; her brothers, John and Steve Berry; sister Barbie Berry; her beloved dog Bones; and many loving friends, family, and extended family. A Visitation will be held, Friday, July 22nd, 2:00pm-7:00pm, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, Louisville KY, 40216. Service will be held, the same day 6:00pm, at the funeral home.
