Edward Stark

January 21, 1929 - March 7, 2022

Edward Stark, 93, of Louisville KY, passed away, March 7th, 2022. Edward was born January 21st, 1929, in Dearborn Michigan, to his parents, Clara and August Stark. He was one of five children, in a bustling household. After graduating high school, he went on to serve in the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Knox. After he was honorably discharged from service, he went on to work for Armour Food Company and later became a union representative. Edward was a proud member of the local 227 Union. He owned and ran his own T.V. and radio shop for a period of time. Edward was a CB radio enthusiast, loved old clocks, enjoyed fishing and spending time in the wildlife reserve his nephew, Gary owned. He was a family man and cherished every moment he spent with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Clara and August Stark; wife, Hattie Stark; Children, Edward A. Stark (Bonita), Linda Mcdonley (David), and Betty Wright (Bill); brother, Carl Stark; sisters, Betty Webber, and Viola King. He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Bonita Stark (Edward); sister, Hellen Haskell; and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as friends and extended family in Michigan. Visitation will be held on Thursday March 10th, 2:00pm-8:00pm, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, 40216. Services will be held Friday, March 11th, 11:00am, at the funeral home. A brief visitation will be held prior to service, from 9:00am-11:00am. Burial to follow at Willisburg Cemetery.
