James "Buddy" Allen Davis Jr.

James "Buddy" Allen Davis Jr., 65, passed away June 10, 2022. He was born in New Albany, IN on November 30, 1956. He was a forklift operator for Kentucky Electrical Cooperatives. He is preceded in death by his parents, Virginia Davis and James Davis Sr.; niece, Carolyn Phillips; nephew, Devin Miller. He is survived by his daughters, Adrienne Elmore (Eric), Allison McWaters (Andy), and Amanda Fey; brother, Steve Davis (Lynn); sisters, Sandi Marcum, Loyce Miller (Alan), and Cyndi Hook (Gary); grandchildren, Emilie, Ben Ellie, Arin, Alivia, Arya, Amelia, Will, and Emma; a host of nieces and nephews; and his favorite hammer, Mike. He was a good ole boy, Jack of all trades. James was deeply loved by his daughters and will be forever missed. Service will be Saturday June 18, 2022, at 2:00PM at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway Louisville, KY 40216. Visitation will be Saturday June 18, 2022, from 12:00PM till 2:00PM at Owen Funeral Home.
