James Earl Donigan Jr.

July 22, 1956 - June 19, 2022

James Earl Donigan Jr. was born July 22, 1956, in Louisville, KY to the late Daisy (Chambers) and James Earl Donigan Sr. James entered the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 2002. He leaves behind his wife, Darlene Donigan, and his kids, Crystal Ford (Reggie), Schwayla Campbell, Jammie Milan, Echai Milan, and James Milan; siblings, Derrick Donigan, Shawn Donigan, Ricky Donigan, Tony Donigan (Tina). James E. Donigan II (Sherice), LaVonzella Donigan Bradley, Connie Lyons and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Jessie Milan and sister-in-law, Lisa Donigan. James started working at the age of 14 and joined the U.S. Army when he was 20. He was a hardworking man who loved his kids and grandkids dearly. He was an avid lover of Cadillacs. His laugh and smile were a constant reminder of his great sense of humor. A celebration of James’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. Father since you have gone first and we remain, one thing we would have you do is walk slowly down that long, long path for soon we’ll follow you. We want you to know each step you take that we may walk the same for someday down that lonely road you’ll hear us call your name.
