Jo A. Frank

February 8, 1947 - March 16, 2022

Jo A. Frank, 75, of Louisville, KY passed away on March 16th, 2022. Jo was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana on February 8th, 1947, to her parents Rita and J.E. Mannix. Jo was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. Alongside the love of her life, Leonard Frank, they raised a happy family. She enjoyed spending her time reading a good book, watching her favorite shows on TV, taking care of her many pets and Facetiming with her grandchildren whom she adored. Jo retired from Humana and made many friends there over the years. Jo will be remembered for her compassion, her caring nature, and free spirit. Her memory will be cherished by all those whose lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her parents Rita and J.E Mannix, and her sister Sandra Rury. She is survived by her husband Leonard Frank; Children, Don Frank (April), and Lisa Nugent (Carl); and grandchildren, Taryn, Mason, Ireland, and Matthew; and many loving family, extended family and friends. Donations can be made to the Kentucky Humane Society, 1000 Lyndon Lane, Suite B, Louisville, KY 40222, in memory of Jo. Visitation will be held Monday, March 21stt, from 10:00am-1:00pm. A service will follow at 1:00pm. Both will be held at Owen Funeral Home – Dixie Highway, 5317 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40216.
