Joan Kaye "Joanie" Level

August 9, 1962 - November 19, 2021

Joan Kaye Level "Joanie", 59, wife of William "Bill" Smith Sr. and a mother of William "Billy" Smith Jr. passed away Friday November 19,2021 after a short battle with cancer. She was born August 9, 1962. Joanie graduated from P.R.P. High School and Louisville Tech. She retired from Toyota Plant in Georgetown after 25 years of service. She was of the original 3000 hired in 1988. Joanie was always doing things to help her family, never putting herself first. She was way above average. Joanie is also survived by her mother Kaye Level, brother Michael "Mike" Level, stepson Jason Smith and a host of extended family. She is preceded in death by her father Ernest Level; brothers Rickey Level and James Level; nephew Steve Level and stepfather Dee Judd. She has left a hole in our hearts and gone much too soon. Funeral services will be Saturday November 27,2021 10:00am Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday November 26,2021 from 2:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
