John Watkins Jr

John 'Jon-Jon’ Watkins, Jr. was born to the late Shanadas D. Rhodes and John Watkins, Sr. on August 27, 1980. He departed this life for eternal rest on Friday, March 14, 2021, in Louisville, Kentucky. At an early age, he received Christ and later became a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. He later became a dad of four. John loved his family and friends. He never met a stranger and is known for his great rapping skills. John was passionate about his music. He also loved working and hanging out with his boys. He was a loving father, brother, nephew, and friend to all. John was preceded in death by his parents, Shanadas D. Rhodes & John Watkins, Sr. and grandparents, Savannahs & Thomas Rhodes. He leaves to cherish his memory: His oldest son's mother, Johnese ‘Neecie’ Robey, their son, Juliyaun Robey, age 13; his other children's mother, Kanora West, their sons, KaJohn Watkins, age 13 and Josaih Watkins, age 11, and his stepdaughter, Korea West, age 16; his sister, Edvonde Rhodes, his uncle, Chroya Rhodes and a host of family and loved ones.
