McCall Griffin Gardner

July 22, 1995 - March 19, 2021

It is with deepest, unimaginable sorrow that we announce the passing of our beautiful girl, McCall Griffin Gardner. McCall Griffin, age 25, died on March 19th, 2021. Our broken hearts will forever miss her. McCall Griffin is survived by her mom, Dana Bennett Gardner, father, Rob Gardner, sisters Micah Reagan Tinal (Craig), Merritt Caroline Gardner and brother Carson Grey Gardner, grandmother, Carol Bennett, uncles, Barry Bennett and Brian Bennett (Brenda), nephews, Rowan Scott and Carter Guy, niece, Callie Rae, and cousins, Luke and Landon Bennett, Lexi and Kelli Croft, and Jason, Eric, Katie and Lilly Kollars, and a great aunt, Patricia Williamson (Tom Wilson). She is proceeded in death by her grandparents, Mary Jean and Prentice Gardner, her aunt, Peggy Lee Gardner, and the recent passing of her Papa, Dallas Bennett. McCall Griffin graduated Summa Cum Laude from Bellarmine University, majoring in political science, where she was President of the Pre-Law Society. She then attended Indiana University Bloomington, Maurer School of Law, and was President of the Family Law Society. She loved her family deeply, especially her role as “Aunt Gerf”. McCall Griffin touched many lives. She loved the Lord, country music, crocs, her perfect cat, Harlowe, Dolly Parton and the U.S. Constitution. Her unique style, banter, wicked humor, bold spirit and loving heart will be memories we will treasure forever. In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to the Louisville Center for Women and Families, www.thecenteronline.org, in her honor. Visitation will be Thursday, March 25th from 4pm until 8pm at the Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road. A memorial service will be held at a later date..
