Rose Hodges

Rose Hodges, 91, of Louisville KY, passed away, March 14, 2021. Rose was born in Louisville KY, July 13, 1929, to her parents Irene and Robert Weber. She was a devoted mother, wife, and friend. When she was not home shopping on the Home Shopping Network, Rose loved going out to the casino and taking her chances on the penny slots. She attended service regularly at West Maple Baptist Church, her presence will be missed dearly. She worked at MiLady’s helping assist women going through some of the most difficult times of their lives. She was a kind and generous person. Rose truly loved spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irene, and Robert Weber; husband, Jack Hodges; daughter, Beverly Clem; grandchildren, Lisa, Seanette, and Jennifer; and siblings, Robert, Buddy, and Sissy Weber. Rose is survived by her children, Kenneth Hodges (Mary), Janet Dryden (John), Jackie Hodges, Ronald Hodges, and Tracey Lucas (Mark); grandchildren, Jessica, Johnny, Heather, Elizabeth, Kenny, Thomas, Whitney, Reagan, Jack, and Wesley; 18 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. A memorial gathering will be held Friday, March 19, from 10:00am-2:00pm, at Owen Funeral Home - Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road, with service to follow at 2:00pm. The family requests that donations be made in Rose’s memory to Cedar Lake, 3301 Jericho Rd, La Grange, KY 40031.
