She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband Silas Tomes. She is survived by her son, Kermit A. Tomes; and siblings, Frederick Wright (Judy), and Virgie Ann Phillips. Services will be held on Tuesday January 4th, 2022, 12:00 PM at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, Louisville KY, 40216. Visitation will be held the same day from 10:00 AM until time of service. Burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Cemetery.
