Thomas "Tommy" Wayne Probus Sr.

January 13, 1948 - March 27, 2022

Thomas " Tommy" Wayne Probus, Sr. 74, passed away Sunday March 27, 2022. Tommy worked as a Mechanic at Toohey’s Auto Service; he was Methodist by faith. He loved to watch television, avid UK fan. He never met a stranger because he loved to talk. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 25 years Victoria Probus; parents Hallie (Joseph) and Coy Probus; his son Edwin G. Probus; brother Ronnie W. Probus. Survived by his children Thomas Probus Jr. (Sherry), Joe Vowels (Janet), Richard Jarvis, Tammy Porter (Leonard), Wanda Evans Holloway (Michael); several grandchildren and several great grandchildren; half brother Woodrow “Woody” Probus (Kristy); sisters Drenda Probus, Mary Wells, Trenia Probus Baumgardner and Catherine Denise Hughes (Lenny). Funeral services will be Thursday March 31, 2022, 11:00am Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in St. Stephens Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00-8:00pm at funeral home.
