Ripley Willow Puccetti

Ripley Willow Puccetti, born November 27, 1998, in Louisville, passed from this earth into the loving arms of God on June 22, 2025. Ripley was a gifted artist and musician who created from the depths of her soul. Her paintings and drawings are rich with emotion and intricate detail and have been exhibited at many art shows including the Louisville UnFair. She found peace in long walks through nature, the serenity of lakes and forests, and in rescuing and caring for animals and wildlife. She was a deeply sensitive and caring friend to many, and she loved with her whole heart. She was an avid reader and thinker who loved exploring new ideas and perspectives. Her vibrant mind, creative spirit, and deep empathy touched everyone who knew her. Ripley is survived by her parents, Lisa Puccetti and Gregory Puccetti; her stepfather, Gary Copeland; her grandmother, Angella Griffin; her brothers, Garrett (Erin) Puccetti and Griffin (Jillian) Chambers; her sister, Christy (Craig) Overberg; step-siblings, Cory (Jenna) Copeland, Casie Copeland, and Kellie Copeland; and her beloved nieces and nephews: Trystan, Jamie, Ethan, Bailey, Emma, Thomas, and Caeli. Among her many friends, she leaves behind her lifelong best friend, Brady Alexander, and very special friends, Garrick, Kyle, Zonny, Moses, and Muntithar. Ripley was a graduate of the J. Graham Brown School and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Spalding University. She was preparing to begin graduate studies in Social Work at Spalding, with the goal of becoming a therapist and art therapist serving marginalized communities, including the LGBTQ+ community and the empowerment of women. Those who knew Ripley will remember her infectious laugh, mischievous grin, and her love for dark art, literature, films, and music. Above all, they will remember her endless love and compassion. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, Louisville. A funeral service officiated by the Reverend Garrett Puccetti and the Reverend Molly Shoulta Tucker will follow at 5:00 PM. Burial will be scheduled at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Sweet Evening Breeze, 801 Barrett Avenue, or the Louisville Pride Foundation, 1244 South 3rd Street. Though Ripley’s time with us was far too short, her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew her. May her memory be a blessing, and may we carry her in our hearts forever.
