Join us for an exciting day of food, fun, and racing. We are visiting Millionaires Row for a scrumptious buffet and an exciting day at the track.  The tickets are limited and always go quickly, so if you are interested send your payment in as soon as possible. Tickets may be picked up on May 9, 2025, at Owen Funeral Home.  Regarding parking, first-come, first-serve, parking will be available to guests in the frontside parking lots off Kentucky Derby Drive (in front of Derby Museum). Here’s a summary of our 4-day Quad Cities Tour itinerary. to Rock Island, Illinois, and Dubuque, Iowa: Arrive in Rock Island, Illinois and explore the Quad Cities Botanical Gardens for a relaxing start to our adventure. The next morning we arrive in Le Claire, Iowa, and embark on a riverboat cruise to Dubuque, Iowa. While on board we will enjoy: Full breakfast. Lunch buffet. Prime rib dinner buffet. Live entertainment The next day we have a guided tour of Dubuque, featuring: A visit to the National Farm Toy Museum. Stop at the Field of Dreams movie site to relive iconic film moments. Operation Toy Soldier is a nationwide initiative to help provide toys to children of military families at Christmas time. Owen is excited to host Operation Toy Soldier Open Car Cruise to help with this cause. Join us in appreciation of our military families, by adding a smile to a child's face this Christmas. Cruise out and enjoy the car cruise, music, and good food from Bud's Tavern Food Truck. Admission is a toy donation for Operation Toy Soldier.

Each holiday season, the Owen Family and Staff join together to honor the life of those we have served over the past year. We craft an ornament of remembrance and present this ornament to Owen Families at our Owen Remembrance Service.  We offer services at two locations on Saturday, December 9, 2023: Owen Funeral Home Jeffersontown - 11:00 am 9318 Taylorsville Road Owen Funeral Home Dixie - 4:00 pm 5317 Dixie Highway To request a personalized ornament, if your loved one passed between November 1, 2024 - October 31, 2025 - please contact Genene Nisbet at (502) 447-7759 or [email protected]. If you are unable to attend the Owen Remembrance Service, you may pick up your ornament(s) starting December 17, 2025, at both our locations.
