Charles Wayne York, 62, passed away Tuesday January 11, 2022 surrounded by family. Charles retired from Arkema as a chemist; he was Christian by faith. He was a 1977 PRP Graduate and graduated from the University of Louisville in 1981, loved playing sudoku and loved watching all UL sports. Charles had every tool and gadget in the book; very technical and mechanical savvy. Preceded in death by his parents, AC and Thelma York. Survived by his sisters; Paula Limato (Paul) and Angelia Parsons; niece Rebekah Tessitore (Vincent) and nephew Jamie Limato (Jessica); great nieces and nephews Vellani, Stella, Tyson, Hudson, Addison and Elleson and his beloved dog and companion, Chilli. Funeral services will be Saturday January 15, 2022 11:00am Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial to follow Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00-8:00pm and Saturday from 9:00 am until time of service.
