Doris Jane Harlamert Wilbert Obituary January 27, 1929 - July 6, 2022 The life of the party, Doris Jane Wilbert, left this world how she loved to spend it, surrounded by her family. Most important to her was family and she loved nothing more than the noise and chaos of a house full of loved ones. She went by many names: Mom, Maw Maw, Grandma, Maw Maw Patty Cake, Wife, Daughter, and Friend. She had a unique gift of making everyone feel very special and important. In fact, she often told whoever she was with “you are my most favorite.” Doris was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church for over 50 years and for many years was a lector. She retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Wilbert Jr., two sons - Robert F. Wilbert III and Gary Wayne Wilbert, two brothers – Harold L. Harlamert and Donald Harlamert, her parents Edward Harlamert and Dorthea Mae Martin and great grandson William Gillespie Evans. Doris is survived by four daughters Beverly White, Vicky Gillespie (Tom), Sandy Hourigan (Jim), and Donna Nord (Greg), 20 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00pm on Friday, July 22 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway and a funeral mass, celebration of life will take place on Saturday, July 23 at 11:00am at St. Paul Catholic Church, 6901 Dixie Highway, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to Mass of the Air or The American Heart Association.
