Earl Franklin Cooper, Sr., 67, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2022. He was a grumpy old man who loved bowling and women. He was a mechanic for over 30 years and also enjoyed sports as he was into Nascar, Louisville Cardinals, and Denver broncos. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and Ellis Cooper; brother, Ellis Cooper, Jr.; sisters, Eddie Saylor and Margaret Thornton; and a grandson, Quentin Lincoln. He is survived by his daughters, Amy Armes, Jennifer Cooper and Deana Lively; sons, Earl Cooper, Jr. and David Bolt; and grandchildren, Emily Lincoln, Rebecca Armes, Chadwic Cooper, Skyler Mann, Christopher Cooper, and two other grandsons; and siblings, David Cooper, Brenda Welch and Rose Burns. Funeral services will be held at 6:00pm Friday, June 17, 2022, at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00pm until time of service.
