Martha Lee Kelly-Berry

Martha Lee (Giles) Kelly-Berry, 65, passed away on January 13, 2022. She was born on July 28, 1956 in Louisville, Kentucky. She is preceded in death by her father, Huber Giles, mother, Virginia (Kelsey) Goffinet, sister, Gola Perkins, and brother, David Giles. Martha is survived by her husband, Marty Berry; her “Dad”, David Goffinet; sisters, Debra Ernspiker (Dennis) and Peggy Giles, brother, Frank Giles (Brenda); daughters, Leslie Whitworth (Douglas) and Sarah Wheatley (Troy), stepdaughter, Holly Byers, and grandchildren, Hannah Rito, Briannah Wheatley, Molly Whitworth, Gracie Whitworth, Ryan Parker, and Maddox Williams. Martha was a very talented, well known cosmetologist in Louisville and has been called, “The South End Legend of Hair” by many of her clients and co-workers. She also had a passion for art and throughout her life created beautiful artwork both professionally and as a hobby. She was loved and adored by her family, friends, and all who knew her, and will be deeply missed. A memorial service will be held at Owen Funeral Home, at 5317 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky, 40216, on Sunday, January 23, 2022, with visitation from 1-5 with a small service beginning at 4:00 p.m.
