Monty Norman Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Monty Norman, 63, of Louisville KY, passed away, Saturday, November 27th, 2021. He was born in Munfordville, KY, May 7th, 1958, to his parents Geraldine and Kenneth Norman. After high school, Monty went on to work as a union Carpenter and retired from Coope Construction as a carpenter foreman. In his younger years he enjoyed spending time on his motorcycle, riding across town with his wife Celeste, and working on his cars restoring them to their former glory. He was a proud brother of the Knights of Columbus. Monty was always a lover of animals, especially dogs. He loved spending time with his wife Celeste and enjoyed hosting family get togethers. He was a loving husband, father, and a devoted friend to all those who he called family. His memory will be deeply cherished. He was preceded in death by his daughter Megan Eagle and his parents, Geraldine, and Kenneth Norman. He is survived by his wife Celeste Norman; son-in-law, R.J Eagle; brothers, Glenn Norman (Joyce), Philip Norman (Anita), Michael Norman (Ellen); sisters, Marzetta Vernon (Herb), Darlene Roundtree (Jimmy), Jo-Anna Norman, and Tonya Olges (Tony); and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends he made along the way. A memorial gathering will be held, Friday, December 3rd, 4:00pm-8:00pm, at Owen Funeral Home – Dixie Highway, 5317 Dixie Highway, Louisville KY.
