Nancy Crask Henson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Nancy Crask Henson, 74, of Louisville, passed away, July 27th, 2021. Nancy was born in Louisville, Kentucky on November 18, 1946. She was the fifth child born to Alma and Haskell Crask. Nancy graduated from Eastern High School in 1966 and married her high school sweetheart, Auston Henson, to whom she was married for fifty-five years. They had two children, a daughter, Shelly, and a son, Kelly. Nancy was devoted to her family, home and close friends. In addition to working at Valu Market, Nancy loved spending time crafting, sewing, shopping, going on cruises, and traveling with her husband and family. She was preceded in death by her parents Alma Jacobs and Haskell Crask; loving husband, Auston Henson; sisters, Joyce Dauenhauer and Carol Huckleberry; and brother, Jim Crask. She is survived by her children, Shelly Brotzge (Larry), and Kelly Henson (Allison); sisters, Marie Moore (Richard) and Judy Huckleberry (Dennis); brothers-in-law, Larry Dauenhauer and Ron Huckleberry; sister-in-law, Linda Crask; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held Tuesday, August 3 at 11:00 a.m., at Owen Funeral Home - Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, burial to follow at Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, August 2 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home, and 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday.
