Transitions: Moving Forward Following a Loss is a group designed to assist bereaved persons in the first three months following a loss. This group meets (3) consecutive weeks for an hour in duration in the Owen Aftercare Services office to the right of the Owen Funeral Home Dixie entrance. Down the same road again
This support group is for those who have lost a loved one to substance use. The group meets the first, Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. The meeting is held in the Owen Aftercare Services office to the right of the Owen Funeral Home Dixie entrance.
A Parent’s Grief
“A Parents Grief” is a grief support group meeting that is designed to address the specific needs of parents who grieve the death of a child. Each meeting consists of discussion and support. The group meets the Third Monday of every month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The meeting is held in the Owen Aftercare Services office at the Dixie location.
Now and Beyond
The “Now and Beyond”grief support group is designed to address the needs and questions of those who have lost a spouse/partner through death. Each meeting consists of presentation, discussion and support. Each session lasts an hour in duration and focuses on a particular aspect of the grief process. Spousal/Partner Loss Monthly Group - Jeffersontown
The “Monthly Spousal/Partner Loss Grief Support Group” is designed to address the grief process for those who have lost a spouse/partner through death. Each meeting offers support only those who have lost a spouse/partner can give. The group meets the third Wednesday, at 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. every month at the Owen Funeral Home Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road.

The “Monthly Spousal/Partner Loss Grief Support Group” is designed to address the grief process for those who have lost a spouse/partner through death. Each meeting offers support only those who have lost a spouse/partner can give. The group meets the third Friday, at 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. every month at the Southwest Regional Library, 9725 Dixie Highway.
Spousal/Partner Loss Monthly Luncheon
The “Spousal/Partner Loss” Luncheon” is a monthly gathering designed to allow those who grieve the loss of a spouse/partner to socialize and fellowship with others who can understand this type of loss. The luncheon is scheduled on the 1st Friday of every month at 2:00 p.m. The calendar of events will have each month's location. Each person is responsible for the cost of their individual order.
